Interior decorating begins with an in-home consultation discussing the parameters of the project, budget, and your specific needs.
Our objective during our initial meeting will be to listen and get to know your personality and preferences and to set a design vision for your space. We also like to ask our clients to show us photographs they have clipped from magazines to convey the feeling they are trying to achieve in their home.
Once we decide to work together, we will prepare a mood board which will include ideas for paint colours, furniture, art, and fabrics. This helps to see if we have captured the ideas we discussed at our initial meeting. We can then make changes and discuss anything we have overlooked initially. After we have captured the right “tone”, we can move forward to selecting the pieces for your home. If you prefer a more hands-on approach, we can shop together for some of the items you would like to purchase.
